Auld Lang Syne
by Robert Burns

Auld Lang Syne is a song that is traditionally sung throughout the World to bring in the new year. Robert Burns compiled the words from traditional Scots poems and songs, and suggested that they be set to music. Although Scots and English are similar languages, some of the words still take explanation to understand the meaning. Here is how Auld Land Syne roughly translates into English.
